Chris Powell
Vice President Operations and Technology

Chris has 12 years experience working with self-insured health and dental plans. He began his career at a third-party administrator (TPA) negotiating stop-loss contracts for over 100 clients of the firm. He has extensive knowledge in coordinating the reinsurance, administration, and network components of a properly designed self-funded plan.

Chris also has a passion and a talent for technology. The combination of these skills has allowed him to customize tools used to assist our clients in making their health plan design and funding choices. Examples include an HRA/HSA comparison tool, Employer Budget Analysis tool, Total Compensation Statements, and Self-billed Premium Calculators utilized by several of our clients including Lubbock National Bank and Brandon & Clark, Inc.

Through the strategic relationships established with United Benefit Advisors (UBA), Chris has provided solutions for our clients with customized online Employee Benefit Centers, HR Compliance tools, wellness tools, and employee communications.
